A PMD Year Overview
Take a glance at a year as Phi Mu Delta brother!
August: O- Team
To start off the academic year, a few of our brothers return to campus early to help with first-year move-in, and serve as orientation leaders to help first year students get acquainted to campus.
September: Fall Rush Week
Each Fall, we host a rush week to recruit new members who are current sophomores- seniors as well as transfer students. We hold various different recruitment events throughout the week in order for current brothers to get to know potential new members.
October: Brotherhood Retreat
Each Fall, our brotherhood attends a weekend retreat which allows for our brothers to have a closer connection
to each other and participate in other team building exercises.
October: Haunted House
Join us during our annual Haunted House event to help raise money for Transitions of PA while incorporating some scares, and laughter into the halloween spirit.
December: Bro- Ho- Ho
Towards the end of the Fall Semester, we host our annual Bro-Ho-Ho which is an event to not only wrap up the fall semester and kick off the holiday season.
February: Spring Rush Week
Each Spring, we host a rush week to recruit new members that are open to all SU students including first-years. We hold various different recruitment events throughout the week in order for current brothers to get to know potential new members.
March/April: Beach Party
In the spring semester we hold our second philanthropy week with our main event in the Spring being our annual Beach Party to raise money for Transitions of PA while beginning to kick off an early summer.
**2023 Airband Champions**
May: Graduation
At the end of the academic year, we officially bid farewell to the senior brothers as they graduate from SU to begin their new journey as a graduate.
April: Air Band
Before the academic year comes to a closer, all the fraternities and sorotities participate in Greek Week. One of the big events during Greek Week is Air Band which is an annual dance battle between each of the fraternities and each of the sorotities to win money to be donated back to their philanthropy.
Summer National Phi Mu Delta Conferences:
During the Summer Vacation, the National Headquarters of Phi Mu Delta hosts Annual Summer Conferences open to all brothers to attend. Every other year, there is an alternating rotation of conferences that occur with Sapphire Leadership Conference and Conclave.
Sapphire Leadership Conference: a weekend teaching brothers about leadership while meeting other brothers from other chapters)
Conclave: A conference geared towards building network with other chapters as well as attend workshops about the fraternity.
